Attention: This plate will replace the current plate on your vehicle. The new plate will come with a replacement registration. This does not automatically renew your registration. When you are selecting your “Current Registration Status” this is for your current registration. When uploading the picture of the front of your Drivers License please make sure the picture is clear.
NOTE: ALL FLORIDA RESIDENTS OF ALL FLORIDA COUNTIES CAN ORDER THIS PLATE.
Revenue goes to Sheridan House, Inc., to be used in the following manner: Up to 5% of the funds for administrative costs directly associated with the operations of Sheridan House, Inc., and up to 20% for promotion and marketing of the license plate. All remaining funds shall be expended by Sheridan House, Inc., to fund residential care programs, family counseling, social services for single parents and their children, resource materials, and facility construction.
Florida's specialty license plate program allows drivers to purchase creative and unique license plates that support specific organizations and causes. Proceeds from these plates benefit the organizations they are associated with. The personalized license plate program in Florida allows for Florida drivers to customize their license plate with original combinations of letters and or numbers.
Things to remember when personalizing a Specialty License plate
Personalization Availability: Make sure to check availability of the personalization you are requesting. If you do not, and the personalization you request is not available your order will be delayed while we attempt to reach you.
Character Types: Personalized plates can use letters, numbers, or a combination of both. No specialty characters of any kind are allowed.
Objectionable Content: Our clerks as well as the DHSMV can reject any personalized plate configuration deemed offensive, obscene, or inappropriate.
LEASE VEHICLE NOTICE: All leased vehicles requesting a specialty plate must submit a copy of the valid lease agreement for the vehicle that the specialty license plate is being attached to. To process a specialty plate request for a leased vehicle please make sure to include a complete copy of the lease when entering your specific vehicle information.
